I Love the life I live

Outdoors:

Fishing
This includes fly tying and building fly rods and of course the actual fishing part. This is also the page that has Fish Tales, stories of fish and fishing in the vicinity of our home.

Camping
The numerous nearby campgrounds and forest sites afford an endless pursuit of campfire adventure.

Hiking
The numerous trails that are but a short drive away makes boredom virtually non-existent.

Snowshoeing
Often times the same trails we use in the summer are just as spectacular and in some cases more so in winter. Plying a mountainside through 3 feet of fresh powder makes for a great outing to procure a Christmas Tree.

Watching wildlife do their thing
Whether it be Eagles soaring near town, Bison calving in the "Park" the opportunities are endless.

Visiting Yellowstone National Park
Having a treasure like Yellowstone as a backyard playground is indeed

Backyard
When weather permits another wonderful passtime is sipping Bloody Marys on the patio while watching the garden grow. (recipe)
How the garden grows. Our secrets to a successful garden in the harsh Montana climate.

Indoors:
While indoors I might be found engaging in any number of things like listening to music, especially guitar music.Or playing one of my guitars. I find that having guitars around to pick up at any given moment to be a soothing endeavor . I also get satisfaction from tweaking the set-ups or doing other minor repairs to one of my own guitars or to those of others.

Every two weeks I can be found at KGLT  hosting a radio show featuring mostly guitar music. It could be Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Leo Kottke, Chet Atkins, B B King etc. In other words the genre isn't the thing, it's all about the guitar.
